What is The Institute of Historical Christian Faith? – In this day when many of us are exploring and discovering our biological family roots – so few really understand much of their spiritual family roots. Some of us have taken the time to learn of our heritage back a few hundred years to American Christian movement leaders, European Protestant Church Reformers and maybe have grown to appreciate the early Church recorded in the Bible.
However, most of what happened from the close of the New Testament and up until the Western European Protestant Reformation is not much more than a blur of hard names, unfamiliar practices, unknown civilizations, and seemingly irrelevant petty issues and divisions. We are bringing some of that information together into informative and entertaining presentations which will be life-changing for American Christians and seekers and then gather together some financial supporters who will help be a part of an effort to take this same material to Asia (and other parts of the world where we are invited!).
Mission – To present the tenets, truths and key contributors of the first one thousand years of Christian Church history to Christians and inquirers around the world in order to help them live a life permeated by Christ and His Church in its fullest manifestation.
Focus – To offer historically accurate presentations (seminars, workshops, classes, Bible Studies, retreats, books, pamphlets, booklets, website, pod casts, DVD’s, CD’s) outlining the historical Christian Church and its development during the first one thousand years. These presentations will be offered broadly to Americans from all backgrounds and from them a support base will be developed to help facilitate the regular offering of this material to Asian Christians and seekers who know very little about Church history, early Church Fathers and how the Christian faith developed during the first one thousand years.
